From the recording Transform Us
In late 2007 I was invited to be a keynote speaker for the 2008 San Antonio Catholic Youth Conference. The theme: "Transform Us Into Leaders". In short order I wrote this song, based on the Gospel reading that would be used at the closing Mass of the conference, that of the transfiguration of Christ. Since the event was a gathering of Catholic teens, I tried to write it from their perspective... who would believe teens transformed by Christ? I would!
